Thirsty Thursday #70 – Pegboard Nerds
Today’s Thirsty Thursday artist are a duo from Norway and Denmark, dubbed the Pegboard Nerds, who have combined forces to bring a new type of hardcore, fast-firing dubstep. Their brand of dubstep is far from the norm. By combining drumstep, moombahcore, and glitch pop altogether, they have truly created a unique sound for themselves. Although they have been working together for almost 10 years, Pegboard Nerds was only formed two years ago and are just recently starting to get the publicity they deserve.
I am going to see them live on May 24th when they open for Knife Party at Echostage in D.C. so I will have to report back on their live sets, but I have a great feeling that it will be an amazing start to the night.
